In October We Wear Pink!

Since tomorrow is October 1st, which is the start of breast cancer awareness month, I thought I would dedicate this post to something that has become very dear to my heart during the last year.  This year, a very close friend of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer.  She was the first person close to me who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.  I know how hard it was on her, her family and friends but through everyone's prayers, excellent doctors, and support from her family and friends, I can happily say she is now a breast cancer survivor.  She will get to see me walk down the aisle, she her children graduate high school and college and be there when they get married.  I want in my lifetime, for a cure to be found for this awful disease that affects so many people.  That's why I'm reaching out to all of you; there is so much we can do to help find a cure!

For My Fellow Fashionistas:

So many designers/companies are donating a portion of their sales on certain products to breast cancer research, which I think is fabulous.  You know that your purchase is going towards a good cause, which could take away from your buyer's remorse! :)  There are so many companies donating, so PLEASE be on the look out.  I am just giving you a few of my favorite items!
